CSM Celebrates with an All Out Blowout Party at the 37th Manila International Book Fair

Church Strengthening Ministry (CSM Publishing) celebrated an All Out Blowout Party at the 37th Manila International Book Fair at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia in Pasay City last September 14 to 18, 2016. Year after year, things just get better and better. This year, CSM

Publishing has launched 47 new titles from both local and foreign authors.

In line with their theme this year, All Out Blowout: ‘Sandaang Saya, Dagsa-dagsang Biyaya, they offered what their readers and supporters anticipate every year: their everything P100 sale. Living up to the party, CSM went along with their yearly aim and advocacy: to create resources that are excellent and affordable at the same time.

Here is a run-down of what transpired through the entire week of celebration.

From Day 1 to Day 5, CSM Booth Nos. 1-5 were filled with excited customers. Raffle draws and the yearly “Bring Me” game was done all throughout the book fair, engaging customers into participating in the All Out Blowout Party.

Two first-time authors joined the party as they released their books: Dr. Corazon Cleto who wrote Buhay Pastor’s Wife and wife of Pastor Clem Guillermo, Ms. Merlyn Guillermo who wrote My Husband’s Mistress is Me: Ako ang Wife at Mistress ng Asawa ko Day and Night. Both authors were happy and excited to share their books with their readers

CSM held on-site talks and book signings. Around 20 of the authors came to talk and share their personal insights about their respective books.

CSM Publishing’s Grand Unveiling of New Resources took place last September 16, 2016 at the Stage Area of the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia. All 47 new titles, both local and foreign, were launched.

It was a star-studded Saturday at the MIBF 2016 as Star Hotshots forward, the one and only Pinoy Sakuragi, Marc Pingris, launched his first ever children’s storybook entitled Marc Pingris: Puso, Pangarap, Pag-asa, written by Vincent Tan.

Marc openly talked about his experiences as a child, how hard life was for him in Pozorrubio, the people who helped him get to Manila, and how he never stopped working toward his dream.

One of the special CSM on-site book launches was of six-time Palanca Awardee and two-time Gintong Aklat recipient Ms. Grace D. Chong. Her newest devoseries was launched entitled Twin Blessings on a fun-filled Sunday afternoon party, September 18, 2016.

CSM Publishing invited kids and tweens to participate in the party. They celebrated with free face painting sessions, a puppet show portraying the first meeting of the Twin Blessingsmain characters Dom and Dante, and played fun games.

As a take home, CSM gave loot bags for the kids. The launch ended in high spirits as Ms. Grace D. Chong thanked her readers and signed books.
